It's been a while since I blogged in here. I've been busy the past few months preparing my toddler for nursery. She's started school last June 8 and she's been enjoying it immensely. I've been very hands-on since Day 1. I feed her a good breakfast, I make home-cooked packed lunch for her, I bathe and dress her and bring her to school every day. It's a tiring routine but it's something that I welcome, because I know that all this marmeeish tasks will soon pay off.
As my daughter spends 2 1/2 hours a day at school, I think about how she relates with her teacher and classmates. I suppose she's doing fine, because until now I haven't heard any untoward remarks from her teacher. I wish I could watch her in class every day and see how she learns. But, ah, this is the time when we must begin to let go of our child bit by bit, let them explore and learn. I know she's in good hands; I trust the teachers in her preschool. The best I can do is to guide her every step of the way and protect her from bad elements---like bad role models, discomforts, and certain illnesses.
Speaking of illnesses, we're currently on dengue season so I'm doing everything I can to protect my toddler from mosquito bites. And what better way to do it than to slather her uniform and her arms and legs with OFF Lotion. It's the best brand in the market, so far. I let her use the type of OFF Lotion that guarantees 12-hour protection. If you live in the tropics and you have a kiddo at school, I highly recommend using OFF Lotion for your child's protection.
There are various types of OFF Lotion to suit your needs and preferences. I use the 12-hour protection for my kids. Later on, I plan to swith to the new Clean Feel OFF Lotion.
