Where to Find Vintage Posters and Art Prints

In one of our recent trips to a bookstore, my husband noticed some vintage posters hanging on the store's walls. We both adore anything vintage so my husband called me and pointed at those beautiful prints and artsy posters. He asked the staff if they're available for sale. Unfortunately, they're not. But we were told that other branches of that bookstore in the capital may be selling the same posters.

Reproduced vintage posters and other art prints are usually found in flea markets and shops specializing in paper and crafts. I have in fact bought a few art prints from a local crafts seller before. I sometimes toy with the idea of making that long trip to Manila's downtown and Chinatown to hunt for more posters and prints. But that idea remains a dream for now. The cost of gas, food and shopping seems daunting.
